I'm getting conflicting reports about this error but the bottom line is that we can't send or reply to any messages from Outlook. Anybody have the definitive answer to this problem? Thanks.

Ugh, I feel like I'm still at work when I read that. LOL

Anyhow.......can they not send/recieve ANY email? Or do thay get that message when sending to only certain domains?

Check the IP of the senders address on sorbs website.

Initial response is the recipient has the sender blocked, or the sender is on a blacklist somewhere.

Nevermind. It's some sort of Outlook fubar that's corrected by making an obscure configuration change. Why everything worked well for years and broke now, I have no idea. :blink

usually means your ip address is blackholed...

you need to get it removed from the anti spam list. Contact yer ISP or disconnect and reconnect if its a dynamic IP you get from your ISP. Tell 'em anyhow so it doesnt happen again....

though in this case ?? could it have been that your external IP changed ?

    Hi tripwire45,

What was done before this happened?

Also check with your ISP support as this may have occurred to others.

Work back to when it first happened and then think about how or what you did to sort it.

It may not be obvious at first but you really need to do that so that you can identify what it was that happened.
