There are 5 steps in a Cisco router when going from NAT to bridged mode:

    (1) remove NAT on the serial interface
    (2) remove NAT on the ethernet interface
    (3) change the IP of the ethernet interface to the public IP
    (4) remove the overload statement

What was the 5th step? I'm thinking it's to remove the DHCP pool, but not sure.

    Thanks.

Does removing the overload statement not just remove PAT though? Meaning that NAT will still function?

I think you may be right about step 5.
