272 Today - and passed!! Now MCDST

Woohoo, I took the exam today and passed.

I spent the last 20 minutes on 2 tricky questions that I had narrowed down to 2 out of 4 answers in both. I was agonising that thse 2 could make or break it for me - they were both covering the same topic and I didn't want to get too many wrong in the one section.

As it happens I got 945 so I'm very pleased!!!

I highly recommend the QA-IQ centre in London, they were a lot more professional than the place I did my 271 at.

Next on the list - i'm not sure yet. Trying to break back into IT, I was a PC repair tech from 1997 to 1999, and a DST type thing from 1999 to 2001 then kind of drifted away.
Maybe I'll do A+ next. I'd be happy to hear your recommendations though.

My advice for 272 is to do 271 first, then get straight to work on 272. Lots of 271 stuff on the 272 exam. Not so much vice versa.

Start looking NOW... don't wait on more certifications. If you happen to get those certifications before you find a job, then that's well and good... but don't wait until you've got them to start looking.

I'd recommend the A+. After that, do Network+, and then stop certifying until you start building some real-world experience.

Great to hear, but i kinda lost my way after passing the 271. hoping to pick it up and hit the 272 study hard. hopefully, the 272 will seem easier than the 271.
