I've finally booked this exam after sitting the course 8 years ago and going through the second edition of the Microsoft training kit since January. I'm running two virtual machines with Windows Server 2003 on them and 3 Virtual machines with client OS' (2 XP & 1 Win7).

With one month to get ready, I could really do with some pointers on additional materiel and suggested real hand-on exercise to help with this exam.

I took the 290 some time back now, and I remember my biggest regret was not labbing enough! I did pass, with a 727 if I remember correctly, but it was not a fun exam to say the least.

I think I mainly used the MS Press book for it, so as long as you've covered that cover to cover and labbed as much as you can, you'll be fine!

I'll be much more help to you when your onto the next one! 8)

For reviewing, I normally use books like Exam Cram or CBT's like Trainsigna/CBT Nuggets. Practice tests are also a good way to see what your weak areas are and improve on that. MS Press comes with MeasureUP practice tests which you can use.

A week left, without a clue what to do with myself, I've watched the old CBT videos, playing with RAID discs, and creating users, computers and other AD work... I need some pointers and a kick up the arse for the last hurdles...

I am planning o sit this at the end of the month and am using the ms book, with cbt nuggets and exam cram. Got the exam cram for less than £3 inc delivery from amazon.

I have the same VMs setup and am finding the querys and Importing and exporting tools.

Just to add their is some second shot vouchers that can be used upto the end of may, think it was from the ms website I got them.
