Thanks for the Support guys:biggrin :thumbleft

I guess I better get back to the studying:onthePC :study

I spoke to one of the Network boys to day at work and ask how long it took him to do his A+.

He said 3 days:ohmy , they had to take a crash course at this place:-

    Deverills

I can't believe they managed to pass in such a short time?:blink
What about you guys does 3 days or even 5 days seem impossible?

I suppose its possible depending on experience but there's no way that all the information would stick in you mind in the long term.

Thats just my opinion and who am i, i am he i think.

Well done, thanks for all your input to the site :thumbleft

As for the 3 day, A+ Course- If you know the material inside out, then the three days would be covering the concepts covered on the exam.

I think if you are familair with computer hardware and software and have experience in a technical role you could do the A+ in 3 days, the course would cover any material you need to know for the exam and you could learn any little snippets you didn't know.

I know when i did A+ hardware i read the book and memorised IRQ's etc and did some practice questions then took the exam, but someone new to hardware it would be a challenege...

I assume the guy had some background in IT therefore it isn’t just the 3 days that have been used for the A+ exam, he has probably picked up some IT skills that relate to the A+ in his place of work over a period of time.

Don’t stress about how long it takes you to prepare you for the exam, just go at your own pace. 8)
