yes today is me and Lou's 1 year anniversary (yeah even I cant believe it either ) but I am very happy, I have even proposed to her today, got her a card and a bouquet of flowers, all that's left now is to get the ring, which is tomorrow and tonight we're having an Indian take away and then after watching our usual TV programs (Corrie, Eastenders and Spooks) its off to bed for more baby making well there you have it guys, here's to another year for the both of us..now I just have to face the wrath of her dad...I can see it now, we get to her dad's house and he's sitting there looking at me whilst polishing the air rifle pray for mercy!! wish me luck guys...but I am very happy.

no it dont matter which way you do it...as long you get it done, I could have had the ring for ages and not tell her till now, but instead, I told her first then I will get the ring. so all is well...

We didn't get the rings until after I proposed. Heck...I've learned that it's best to let her pick out what she likes then to pick something out for her (especially a ring) and find out she hates it.
