50-60K sounds about right to me in average UK market, depending on demographics.

According to here, the average salary for a CCIE is around the £54k mark. However it's not just the certification that they are basing it on, it's also the experience to go with it.

The big money is for experience, not the certs it seems to me.

There are quite a few very good Cisco guys here who deal with a big national network. Few have CCIE, and one was asking me the other day if I thought he ought to get CCNA!
