    I bloody love this site!!!

Can't believe I used to pay over £10 a pop for a game, and have downloaded virtually my entire back library now onto one flash drive!

Happy, sepia tinted (well, 16 colours) days...

I've been re-living these memories for a few years now.
I can't beleive that I used to spend hours playing these games when I was a kid.
They drive me bonkers within minutes now.

It's a bit of a shame that more and more of the titles seems to be dropping off the site as 'distribution denied'. It was all very well to consider it abandonware before, but now people are showing an interest companies are getting picky again.

To be fair, the spectrum had a great range of titles for £1.99 which is pretty good even by today's standard.

I didn't understand the first question of the certification test and gave up...
    I'm just not geeky enough.

Ah I must of been a proper geek then cos I liked getting it to draw circles after writting some code for an hour ha ha It would do something very basic and I'd be made up. It was also fun trawling through a load of code as a kid looking for where I'd missed off a comma!

Spellbound had me hooked as a kid, I used to love them kind of plaform-collect-object type games, and also the Ultimate games like Knight Lore and that

GBL, just go onto that World Of Spectrum Site, you can get tons of emulators and practically any game you can ever think of from there, all the fun of the Spectrum without the loading times, crashing, snapped tapes, etc :D

used to love my speccy +2 I'd spend hours playing Renegade and Target Renegade. They were the good old days along with the Amiga.

Anyone know a good Speccy Emulator that will work on Vista?
