    Only other word of advice I can give is this: if IT isn't critical for a company, they're not likely to pay a lot for it. Thus, at some point, if you plan to make a profitable go of it, full-time, you'll want to increase your rates... and when you do, a few of those companies that got you "for cheap" will not want to pay higher rates. But as you grow in skill, you'll be worth more... they'll be paying for your experience, or they'll have to find another inexpensive tech.
