well in my area I am paying £1.09 per litre, if I remember correctly there is 4.5 litres in a gallon so thats almost £5 a gallon or nearly $10 a gallon for us. 75% of our petrol is tax :x

    yeah mine is £1.079.
the trouble with converting it to dollars is they earn dollars like we earn pounds (i think) its just exchange aint it, is a pain though.
I want Rockband for my Xbox, its been out ages in the US and its about $160 all in there, over here we get it next month and its £180 all in for the same kit.

A lot of companies still pay the old 40p mile i.e. basic allowance, this no where nears covers things these days.

Also look out if using your own car, sometimes this can increase your insurance.

11p a mile where I am...obviously thats for a company car. Fuel cards are more or less phased out now as they're tax inefficient........for the company!

My company charge a varying amount depending on size of engine - for my 1.1l Micra - 24p per mile, for a 2.2l+ engine - 29p per mile.

But that just sums my company up :(
