Just wanted to share the good news that after about 80 min wait at the test centre this morning as Prometric decided to screw their system up, I took the Beast and passed it!!! Some questions were a killer, but a few nice easy ones chucked in there for good measure.

44 questions - about 6/7 sims.
Plenty of WSUS and DNS, not too many RRAS and DHCP. Couple of IPSec and Subnetting - so pretty much the course that I had expected.

Spent a couple of months off ill in Aug/Sep so I quite a bit of time to dedicate to it, but stopped entirely due to a couple of family bereavements in November. All in studying since June-ish, had to take it this month as I'd pre-paid a voucher for it and that expired on Dec 31st.

MS Press book cover-to-cover, Sybex and Exam Cram for additional material as well the internet.
VMWare all the way - I was a bit lost of what to virtualise and practice but Craigie's review helped a lot - Linky - props to Craigie for that!

Next 70-293!

Am going to sit it myself soon, have been on a similar timeframe... well I think I got the book in August, had a couple of weeks break from it to go on holiday but have just finished working my way through the book, now time for the real nitty gritty cramming... aiming to sit it end of January and I am hoping to have good news like you did! Will be glad when it's over and done with
