Could have been a lot worse!

Group E is this world cup's group of 'death' for me.

What do you mean 'if' my friend! We are going to go all the way! :biggrin

Zim, I am not saying Englands group is easy but for me group E is the one hardest to predict as all the teams are good.

Italy - Not the force they once were
Ghana - First world cup and a very physical team
USA - Most improving team in the world over the last few years
    Czech Republic - Class act

It is a personal view of course as they say in football anything can happen.

Will start growing my nails now so I have something to bite next year...

Englands group is not the easiest, but i feel that its about time sweden were tought a lesson! England have the strongest team they have ever had since not retaining the world cup back in '66', We have a good as chance as anyone..... Bring on the brazilians, Let john Terry show him what a crunching tackle feels like!

    C'mon england :biggrin

I have no faith in England whatsoever.

It will be the same old story "So near yet So far away".

Must admit i have to agree with tyler, it will end up the same old story; so close but yet so far! England do have the players, rooney could almost do it himself but they jus never get it together and i think itl be the same next year 2. Group E i must admit looks the best, a very tough 1 to predict :D

Ahh, now I see. A bunch of grown men trying to belt the crap out of a piece of inflated pig skin and then running around chasing after it again:blink. I can see how it would make people crazy now.

Nugg it's *THE* world cup, the largest sporting world tournament there is. Football (soccer) is the name of the game. Australia have qualified for the first time in decades. They have a decent team now and could progress. Whatever happens it will open Australian's eyes to a sport that the British hold as number one. The Brits invented rugby and football and yet they prefer football (soccer to you).

This is a monumental achievement for Oz. I really hope they go far!

That's why there is a fuss. The tournament will be brilliant, it always is. If you watch these world class teams you will see the talent and it is awesome sometimes.

    Don't miss it mate :D

Nugg my friend you just lie back in the box....we'll wake you up when its all over. As for the rest of you...well I dont follow any of the international (though I should be following either England or Nigeria and since the latter havent qualified and I aint English...well what do you think?) All I will say is next years World Cup will be great and am looking forward to it. I hope England do progress this time round cos they have the likes of Rooney, Owen, Gerrard, Lampard and Robinson...nice young team with the experiences of Becks (tho I still think Terry should be captain!!) so lets see if they can do it this time round...oh and one more thing BAN ALL FRIENDLIES COS THEY ARE USELESS AND MEAN NOTHING AND JUST CAUSE SOME PLAYERS MEANINGLESS INJURIES!!!!
