Hi Guys dont really know where this would go.

Im not a big movie editor or anything so I wouldnt know where to start here.

Ive got a set of CBT Nuggets Vids that I watch through and most of them dont have the Play Speed option is there a way round this ?

Also the ones that dont have the option also dont allow you to move to a section of the video back or forward all you can do is pause

    Any ideas

    Cheers

    Richie

CBT Nugget videos play through their own app. You literally just need to rightclick an area of the video whilst it is playing and increase/decrease the play-speed.

Or do you just have the .mwvs as stand-alone files (and if so, why?)

Your best bet would be to actually buy the legit videos from CBT Nuggets then!?

IIRC you can't extract the .wmvs from CBT Nugget releases and retain full compatibility with Media Player.

Use something like VLC player to view the videos instead. (Link for download)

...well lets be fair, 10 minutes ago you didnt have the app as well, you had "just standalones". So if you have the app, can you not use it at work? Sorry mate, very suspect to me, even moreso after just reading your initial post again.

If I jumped the gun and im wrong, then apologies - but if you read over the posts you may see what angle I was coming from.

mate it comes in an iso format extracting and copying the folders with the vids takes about the best part of a minute. its just easier to have the folder full of the videos.

I don't want to get involved in this but ISO's are probably rips of CD's shipped from CBT downloaded from torrents.
I might be wrong as I have never used CBT's apart from the free ones on their website.

    WIP: Uhmm... not sure
