Sandy is an avid Linux Red Hat user but is disappointed in the lag there has been among chip makers to provide wireless support for his Linux laptop. He read recently that Intel has just posted the version 0.1 “pre-beta” Linux driver code for what wireless technology (final driver code tentatively scheduled for release the second half of 2004)? Choose one answer.

    A. 802.11b
    B. 802.11b/g
    C. 802.11 a/b
    D. 802.11 a/b/g

    Answer later.

Time's up. Correct answer is B. Interestingly enough, "C" has already been accomplished. Couldn't throw you with a Linux question. Gotta try harder. See you tomorrow.
