?

There are two wireless spread spectrum technologies. Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) is one

I thought I'd try posting some wireless QOTDs as an experiment. I'm studying for a wireless certification and constructing questions helps me nail down the concepts. Also, since wireless is "hot" right now, maybe some of you out there will get something out of it too. I have never posted a poll here before so I'm libel to botch it. Here goes.

Your as bad as me. I didn't know the answer so google'd it, read up for about half and hour then voted for the wrong one. Pays to read things twice before answering

Well, I thought I'd leave the question up for a full 24 hours but it seems the natives are restless. Very well. Since it was far too easy anyway, the correct answer is indeed C. Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS). This is the spread spectrum technology used most often for WLANs and is popular due to ease of implementation and high data rates.

I'll try to come up with something more challenging for you WLAN gurus in a little while. :)
