OK, Who's in agreement that Microsoft needs to release

SP3 for Windows Server 2003 that encompasses all these freaking updates.

Oh, and Windows XP SP4 that encompasses all these freaking updates.

I know, I know, obsolete so they wont.

I tell ya, it's enough to pull my grey hair out

It would be nice - very annoying when installing the 1000000000 updates that you have to run the installer for IE 9 as well!

There are some people that release update packages consisting of them all and slipstreamed into a single install. But they're always missing the latest updated and you need to ask yourself if you trust these compilations... But you could make one yourself if you have a few weeks to spare...

I know, I did that once back in the SP2 days and yes, a good week was about it.

Now, I just did a Windows Server 2003 SP2 R2 and what was it, had to have been close to 300 updates. Crazy!

Just don't have that kind of time, I am a consultant with about 50 clients, I don't work for an individual company, time is a precious commodity.
