    Hello Friends.

Microsoft has cut the price of the Windows Vista operating system software package by more than half in China.

The company’s Windows Vista Home Basic software has got itself a price cut to 499 yuan ($66) from 1521 yuan, while the price of its Premium package has been slashed from 1802 yuan to 899 yuan.

This offering from Microsoft has been available in China from August 1 onwards. In fact, the price cut was made in an effort to meet market demand for the operating system that was only recently launched.
    Thanks.

    Great - thanks mate!

Although, to be absolutely honest, the thought of trying to use a Chinese version of Vista is enough to make me want to scrape out my own eyeballs and eat my teeth.
