Im currently studing towards my first Microsoft qualification.

at the moment im creating WIM files to then convert to VHD files to deploy offline updates and so forth,

my question is after creating the Windows x86 Win PE iso can you use this via Vmware to then use image x to create the .wim file?


any input will be greatly appreciated

I have recently passed my Microsoft 70-680 exam.

I personally have never used VMware, however, if you can mount an ISO in VMware, you can mount the WinPE image and use imageX to create the .wim file.
