    I'm actually working towards a diploma in Politics and Gov. at the moment with the OU which is going towards a Law degree.

    I'm also doing some online learning for Dreamweaver MX.

    It may be because they seem to take such a beating anytime they are mention. People may be afraid to admit it now. :(

    I know OU doesn't strictly offer IT certifications, but I did 2 years of IT courses with them, and they were great. There was an abundance of study material, online group activities, regular tutor marked assessments etc. Everything was done on time. A lot of training providers could learn from them.
    The only reason I jacked it in was the timescale. It would have taken about four years to get a 'diploma in computing' and I thought, WTF is that?
    Prices were good too, about £300 per level (one year).
    I really can't praise them enough from my experience.

    I use Scheidegger, just started on the A+ N+ course
     
    Certifications: C&G level 2, ECDL, IC3, MOS

    I used my local college at the time to do the A+ and now im using Learndirect and the Meyers book for Network+.
