which one is the best

    I have completed mcsa and I wanna shift from windows environment so plz tell me unix or linux I go for

    First - welcome to CF! :biggrin

    Next - you will find that Linux *is* Unix (near enough).

    These days a distro of Linux is probably the easiest to get going.

    Honestly, the best for work-environment purposes would probably include RHEL (CentOS for home use) or Solaris (touted as a better Linux than Linux). Sure, other distros are great for various tasks, and most are VERY similar, but these are what is found on most of the corporate networks I've seen.

    Go with whichever you prefer. If you have no preference or no knowledge of either... you should do a little research. We can't tell you which one you'd prefer...
