Amazon has loads of MM books.
Which is best? "All in one exam guide" or "certification passport" :blink

Thanks. Yes I already visited there. I was wondering which of the two Meyers books there is the best. Presumably they overlap so there's no point in getting both(?) Exam guide is the thickest and most expensive so is it the best? Or is the other book more than adequate?

I used the All in One - perfect for the task, IMHO :)

Sorry, Nick. I should have been more clear. The All-In-One book is the tome for studying for the A+. If you have that book, a basic mechanical ability and a couple of older PCs to work with, I think you could pass no problem.

The Passport series is only meant for supplemental story. It's pretty much a thumbnail sketch of the All-In-One and is only meant to be used after you've got the material learned, just to keep you fresh and hitting the high points right before the exam. Sort of the way the Exam Cram2 series is written. You'd never pass a cert (or it would be a minor miracle) by using the Passport or EC2 series by themselves.

Best of luck Nick on your new venture.

You won't be dissapointed with the All in One. It really is a brilliant book. I bought many books for A+ and have to say it is number 1 :biggrin
