Easy! Coffee while I work... needs hot water.

Aw... hang on... I need to check the latest mortgage deals and see whether I can better the latest car insurance quote... but I need a hot drink while googling...

Decisions, decisions... can you add a third voting button please?

definately boiling a kettle, theres nothing that cant be done with a nice cup of tea in hand, beats google every time! google is becoming more and more of a sales channel rather than search engine.

I'd use Google to help me find a more eco-friendly kettle, or just put the coffee machine on.

hmm lets see, to boil teh kettle at night i need to turn the light on then pour water (another resource we're wasting) then put kettle on, probably boiling more water than i need.

To do 1 google search i can leave the light off and use the glow from teh monitor or my led lit keyboard to see what i'm doing......

tough choice! can i say to hell with it all and that 1 google or cup of tea wont make much difference in teh overall scheme of things?

Both are important to me. I like drinking my coffee (from a recently boiled kettle) while searching google (for pr0n naturally).

    We need a fourth button.

The poll just says "which is more important to you"...it doesn't say you have to give up one for the other. I consider going to work and making a living more important than watching a movie, but if I plan my schedule right, I can do both (just not at the same time).

Interesting concept but what about when you span that thought across millions of people, then it becomes a bigger problem and has some (no matter how small) impact on a global scale.

Tough choice indeed to decide between Google searches and boiling a kettle but we managed for squillions of years without google so adding that thought to the equation i'll vote for the kettle to be boiled.

By that logic, we have also lived for thousands of years without electric to boil the kettle, so why not go back to using an open fire, which will heat the home and boil teh kettle and allow you to cook food?
