    Hello,

I'm looking at 2 Sybex CCNA books; one is the 'sixth edition' and the other is the 'seventh edition'.

I want to do the 2step exam process; CCENT (by completing ICND1) and then CCNA (by completing ICND2).

Which book is the best? It maybe am obvious answer of 'seventh edition' but I really dont know what the differences are:

    Please help.

    Sixth edition:

You're better off reading the reviews about the book here: Amazon.com: CCENT: Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician Study Guide: ICND1 (Exam 640-822) (Exam 640-822 With CD) (9780470247020): Todd Lammle: Books as the buyers would have sat the exam and give useful info about the book etc.

Best wishes:) and remember try and get as much hands on as possible via lab environment and in the real world if at all possible and applicable.
