    Hi Guys,

I am looking into studying for the A+ on a self study route. BUT.... I cant seem to find anywahere to sit the exam once im ready. I live in Sussex, UK and have been through prometric's site for locating a test centre. However the only centres mentioned are training companies which charge the earth for a whole training package. I only want to sit an exam...... Help!

You should be able to sit your exam at one of the training centres on the prometric website.

Most testing centres are also training establishments.

Get an account set up on www.prometric.com and click schedule an exam. You then have to scroll through 6 or 7 pages of locations to sit your exam. The price of the exam is the same everywhere, and the testing centers are often in training houses, uni's etc. I sit my exams in Wigan College as they have a testing center in there, its nothing to do with the college itself, just a rented room.
