Where to start off?

    hi i have started an it degree this month and i am interested in what certificates to get, i want to start off small and specialize in something further down the line. i have searched around the forum and it seems a+ is regarded as the starting point, but i dont know where the next stepping stone is. any help on the certs and exams is much appreciated

    also why cant you spell specialie the british way on this site

    It must be whatever browser spell-checker add-in you have, not this site, that's making you spell specialise with a z.

    After the A+ the Network+ or Microsoft client certs would be the way forward.
