When do i start using the pack tracer software?

    Morning,

    im currently self studying the official book for ICND1, finding it difficult but getting through..

    at what chapter will i need to use the packet tracer software?

    Chapter 8 is where the switch configuration starts, if you're using the Official Exam Certification Guide by Wendell Odom.

    You might want to look into getting yourself a CBT nuggets training video on the CCNA if your struggling. I've not looked at their CCNA training but I've heard it's good.
