I was over in Montana in January (a cruel form of torture?) and the snowploughs were ploughing 200 miles of freeway every morning, plus the main roads in the tiny ass town I was in

You think after the last few years of getting snow, the UK would perhaps say 'hmm, we need to do something about this' heated points on the tracks would be a good start, amazing how some cold weather brings millions of commuters to their knees

BTW Lee, what was the significance of how you started this tread and dales, why was the pic you posted "tidy"? :confused:

 

"Gavin and Stacey" It's a silly comedy thing over here in the UK. One of the characters in it has become quite well known for some of her catch-phrases - one being "What's occuring"...and another "Tidy"

The significance of it being hot in here is that I have now changed to a penguin (avatar).....blindingly obvious really :

Yes, you'd think so. There were countless accidents every day last week due to no grit on roads....Overly nervous "lets keep slamming on the breaks" drivers (and overly confident "lets overtake 5 cars and spray them all with black sludge" ones) don't help matters either!

 

Ha Ha Ha...though would the 'cafe orchestra' penguin man really find the bird (pardon the pun) attractive?
