Uh... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say... the CCENT/ICND1 labs? :)

Wow! Glad I could get such an educated response. :biggrin

I purchased the CCNA Labs, but I am going the two exam route. So my question is, which labs in the CCNA net sim will prepare me for CCENT?

Sorry, B... I assumed they were separated by exam because there's a CCENT-only version available. I've got the CCNP version, and it looks like all the CCNA labs are lumped in together.

Let me see what I can find out.

Found something that might help you out. Although I don't have the lab breakdown in front of me, this link breaks down the feature sets that are offered in NetSim for CCENT, NetSim for CCNA, and NetSim for CCNP. If you focus on the labs that cover the NetSim for CCENT features, you should do fine on the exam.

Here's a quick breakdown of the NetSim for CCENT features:

    Point-to-point serial
    Point-to-multipoint serial
    Crossover Cables
    Straight-through Cables
    ISDN (BRI)
    ISDN (PRI)
    Legacy DDR
Slot based devices with ability to change modules
    RIP
    RIP v2
    IGRP
    VLSM
    ISDN BRI
    Dialer Profiles
    Network Baseline Discovery
    Troubleshooting Network Layer Problems

The only other thing I would advise is to match up the NetSim CCNA labs with the ICND1 objectives found on Cisco's Web site (CCO login required).

    Hope this helps! :)

Thanks for checking on it. I guess I will do the Sequential Labs in the Lab Navigator. The first 20 labs look like the might go with the CCENT features that you described. Thanks again for your help. I was just joking you with the smartass comment!

Well, the tag would probably fit me. But I'm sure you'd rather have a smartass create practice questions than a dumbass create them, wouldn't you? :p :biggrin

Glad to be of service... give me another shout if I can be of assistance to ya!
