Less than 30 minutes to go before the New Year in the mountain states in the US. Have a Happy and Safe New Year, everyone.

 

Happy new year all
was the first time in 3 years i spent new years back in the big smoke, and I must say it was bloody great, there must of been a hundred thousand gathered around Big Ben, spreading along the embankment all the way past lambeth and waterloo bridges, was quite a site, and they finally put on a semi decent firework display

we then hit 'the lambeth walk' down the road for a few more bevvies but had to leave a tad early, missis has a plane to catch today at 3pm, erk!

Hope everyone has a great new year, especially those of you starting new jobs

It's now January 2nd. David got home ok from Memphis and even got a ride home. My wife went to bed before midnight and I decided to lay down on the sofa waiting for David to call. Around
2 a.m., she strolled in and my other son Michael came back from his party shortly afterwards.

This has been a great year in terms of my career. Wrote my first book and got my first full-time job in IT. My daughter will be home from Japan in another month and four days. New Year is starting out pretty good.
