I get this detected every day when I run my AVG free virus scanner and it always fails to heal it. Does anyone know what it is and how I can get rid of it? Many thanks.

A quick google suggests that AVG has found something amiss with your 'hosts' file.

The whereabouts of this file will depend on the version of Windows you are running.

It usualy means that something has altered this file, which should not normaly happen. On *most* machines the file does not actualy exist, but a 'sample' one, called hosts.sam does exist.

Any reason you wouldn't buy and download it from the official Kaspersky site?
