I was pondering this earlier this evening, after I found myself thinking "how could you have anything other than Google as your Homepage ?"

So, on your preferred PC. do you have a search engine, a news channel, your ISP, or something different entirely - I guess the most interesting part of this thread will be what the "Other" options turn out to be ........

    EDIT: Clarified the question.

isp home page. Only because I'm too damn lazy to change it. Did use this place for a while before I had XP or 2000 on the pc. But as soon as the kids got on it and then went where they wanted to go, I'd lost all the unread threads an couldn't keep up. :blink

On the other hand at work we have to use the intranet homepage, which is VERY boring :blink

Can I have another vote please? :biggrin

Depends. Some are set to google, some to my work's web mail, some to a particular website I've been asked to help out with (yes...another one). :blink

Yeah we have the intranet home page as well, and it's boring.
However:!::!::!: if it wasn't on the home page, I wouldn't even visit there, which would seem ideal.
But I saw a job advertised for an IT officer to support applications and networking, on the intranet home page, which I'll apply for now I've got at least one cert.
So you've always got to keep your eye out, as there's interesting things in even the most seemingly dull views.

Currently I just have Mozilla Help and Support default home page, cuz I'm too bloody lazy to change it.
In fact I prefer it actually.
From there I can decide where to go, based on my needs :beatnik

OK, just to clarify - I wasn't meaning work intranet (as I was forced to use, but decided to use Google there too, with our intranet top of my Favourites)

The poll question was pitched at whatever you use on your preferred PC.

    HTH :D

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Randompage

is my homepage, a nice random collection of information every time i open it up

however i hardly ever see my home page

with opera I have it always 'open previos pages' so if opera closes, crashes, or i reboot, it opens the 20 pages i have open at the time again, so i dont have to try and remember them all

i also just type in g <phrase> in the address bar to do a google search so im pertty adept at that, and mouse gestures are a great feature, so all in all opera improves my productivity somwhat, and i learn something new when i go to my homepage :)

Like Pheonix, I often visit Wikipoedia, though preferring to start at the home page where I can see what happened on this day in history.
It's an excellent site, and I'd love to be able to contribute to it someday.

I think I will set it as my homepage actually.Seems like the ideal place to me. :D

I've just upgraded to the leatest version of firefox.

The home page now has the google search function on it.
    Mozilla Firefox Start Page

I think I'll keep it on that for the time being.
