I've really wanted to completely revamp my site for some time now but I don't have the time to devote to it. I did manage to change the color scheme (mostly) yesterday and put it on the web. Today, I was still toying with other schemes.

Here's what my site looks like today:
    http://www.wiredwriter.net/

Like I said...the site is structurally the same, just tweaked the CSS a bit. The following are some other options:

I like this one as well and except for a change from blue to purple, it's really the same effect:
    http://www.wiredwriter.net/ww-purple/index.html

I thought about going back to some serious "blue" and came up with this one. It seems a bit heavy, though:

When I first started the redesign, I was actually thinking of doing the site in black and white only. You'll notice that in all the examples, the background behind the "container is a white-to-black gradient. This last example is interesting but I can't find any text that is readable as the gradient changes from top to bottom in the container. I hate the red text but it does seem to show up the best:

So what do you think? Should I keep it the way it is now or consider changing to one of the others?

Oh, by the way...only the links off the main site work. The links from the "experimental" pages go nowhere.

have to agree with the guy's above and if you have to change it stay well back from the red as you are reducing the readability of your website to certain visitors

Yo can or can't see the font very well, mitzs? Actually, I didn't change the font, just the color. I did change the size of the font for the header to make it larger.

For the record, I'll probably leave it as is. The light blue gradient is softer than its previous incarnation without being too informal. I just like tinkering under the hood.

It probably went the same place as the "u" I typed in the word "You" (which turned out as "Yo").
