After many weeks of discussions and firing off my CV I've accepted a new role and a new career path. I won't be a trainer for much longer and will be returning from whence I came - moving back to IT support, but this time very hands on in a large organisation... looking forward to it really, I've sort of lost track of what happens in the real world...

Plenty of opportunities in this new role also, so who knows where I'll end up...

And for what its worth, I was told that as a trainer I hadn't a snowballs chance in hell of getting a contract support role as I was up against people with relevant current experience - up yours recruitment bod!!! Persevere folks - and know your stuff and you'll get there...

cheers. it has to be... there's no training jobs where I'm going - I'm off home to Ireland. But looking forward to something differnet also.

of course, it means little web access for a month or so till I get a flat and sort out broadband, so the clydemeister may be in short supply here!
