I was at work and typed cert forums into to google.

It brings up certain topics aswell as the CF site.

This time it also had a members name as a link to the site, so I clicked on it and I had the log in screen then I was faced with another members screen not the one that was on google that I had clicked on :blink

Did the same search. Came up with this... So this is how CF looked when it was started in 2003? :)

    I got:

"This site reaches approximately 2497 US monthly people. The site attracts a college educated, very slightly male biased, middle aged crowd" 'Quantcast' ??!? :blink

edit: IMO, it is more than slightly male biased - would hazard a guess that there was about 80% (or more) men...but on quantcast it says 48% female?

Not so sure about the 'middle aged' bit either? though I guess it could be right as an average?

I would say the middle age will be on a par with the younger side.

According to them, we use terms that might be used by both males and females. That said, I would agree with you that technology related stuff would be much more male biased (and correspondingly reflective of the ratio on this forum)

Well, it's likely counting us as more middle-aged because we discuss career opportunities and growth, and not a bunch of predominantly "teenage" or "young adult" topics, such as, where to party or what music do we listen to.

Ah - didn't see that bit regarding the terms - makes more sense now.

Yas, I guess so. Thinking about it, this should be taken as a compliment anyway, as middle / older aged people tend to be wiser / have more knowledge - in fact that's actually a really good reflection of our lot - we are just a big bunch of technology gurus :D

I didn't either... but I know how those data quantification sites operate. ;)

    Glad to be of assistance!
