Want some advice regarding Microsoft certification

    Hi All!

    I am new to this discussion forum and its very nice to meet u all here.I am interested to appear for the microsft certification exams.Presently I work in VC++,MFC environment. Can anyone please advice me for which certification I should go MCSD or MCSE.And also pl suggest me to from where to start ie...sudy materials etc or shud I go for any coaching.
    I will be waiting for a reply at ur earliest.

    Hi,

    You state that you work with VC++, so I assume that your a developer. If that's the case, do not go for the MCSE, go for the either the MCSD, MCAD or the MCTS cred, see here.

    Professional cred/certs should be job related and gaining a MCSE when you're a programmer/developer will not assist you in your career, imo.
