With Wanadoo providing my Internet connection, i recieved a letter through this morning informing me that they will soon be changing their name and merging with Orange.

Was a bit suprised as its the first i have heard about it.

Seems like more and more companies are going multi-utility

Next Orange will be offering electricity and gas..

 

It is worthwhile keeping an eye on The Register . This has been reported there, along with lots of other info. For me they are required reading in order to keep up with technology!

Sorry to hijack, but I was with One-tel (who actually used to be the company I now work for) for my phone calls, but are now Talk Talk - One-tels main competitor. Talk about silent takeovers ???

Aw! I must admit I find it difficult sometimes to keep up myself, and I'm in that business (we have a Onetel switch in our building). My excuse for spending lots of time on the tech press is that I *have* to know what is happening.
