Oddly enough, I don't find her particularly appealing. Guess I go for that "girl next door' look.

I would agree with Trip and Zeb... she doesn't appeal to me.

I agree, since when did owning an ipod make you a geek ? All entrants that can't solve partial differential equations should be removed at once ! :)

Of course a hottest babe next door competition will be more interesting and so I'll second Trips suggestion !

Actually, the photo is of actress Elisha Cuthbert who started in a movie called The Girl Next Door. I've never seen the film, but supposedly, it's about "a teenager's dreams come true when a former porn star moves in next door and they fall in love". What I mean by "the girl next door" in terms of attractiveness, is defined by Wikipedia as "The cultural and sexual stereotype of the girl next door is invoked in American contexts to indicate wholesome, unassuming, "average" femininity; the opposite of the culture's other female stereotypes such as the tomboy, the valley girl, the femme fatale, and the slut. ..."

I guess for me, it is a "look" that combines a "clean cut" feminine image that is also sexy. Many "sexy" actresses and models seem to also communicate a kind of "pr0n" image that suggests "where many men have gone before". It's why I don't find people like Madonna or Angelina Jolie particularly attractive women. I always thought that Cindy Crawford successfully communicated the image of a woman who was both "wholesome" and really sexy (see attachment for a non-pr0n pic of Crawford).

Feel free to post pics of a couple of hunks if it'll help your eyesight. I'd put up a couple for you, but I'm not that great a judge of handsome male flesh.

lol. As far as make geeks extend, Johnny Galecki doesn't really count, what with only portraying a physicist.

Sickeningly enough, I only need look as far as my dearest fiance for attractive male geekiness. He can do calculus, so it counts
