So I've spent a good after noon last night setting up vmware server on ubunutu 8.10 64bit version. I had a few issues here and there but nothing major. It was mostly with carrying over the vm's I created in windows into linux.

So far I've ordered 4gb of ram and I have another 1gb stick that I will add to the server this tuesday when I'll receive the memory, hopefully it will make things faster.

    My setup will be:

AMD Dual Core X64 3800+ CPU
    5gb of DDR2-800Mhz
160GB hard drive - a regular WD, I might be replacing it with 2x250 WD or Hitachi drives and have them in raid 0
    Linux Ubuntu 8.10 64bit.

So far I have a DC1 server, XP Home pc and WSUS. I will be adding a XP pro and one more DC to the list.
