Vista: Small Icons

    This is a two-parter:

    Small Icon of Start Menu
    Right-click the start button, select properties, Click on Customize for the start menu, untick 'use large icons' at the bottom of the list.

    Small Desktop Icons
    Hold down CTRL while scrolling the mouse wheel to change the desktop icon sizes.

    Also you can right click on the desktop view>classic icons (or whatever size you want) to change desktop icon size.

    The default 'medium' size takes up too much space IMO.

    Yeah I know, I dont know why they made it like that. I mean the icons look better then XP but it gets old right away at that default size.
