Im getting fair cheesed off! Im trying to download a beta of vista from ms site and the download finishes and the dvd burns but it gets corrupted! I have tried twice and both times autorun corrupts and during installation too! Im using nero 7 to burn the image which also tells me about an incorrect block size. Any advice as i would like to start learning vista asap!

    thanks guys!8)

Can I just check which one you are downloading is it the preview one the RC1 Update:blink

or is it the 32 bit or 64 bit beta downloaded version?

can you post the link here.

Looking on other forums, it would seem MS haven't included everything in the Beta version 2. One forum states MS is due to release this version on DVD.

Due to the ISO version not having the RC1 upgraded, also there is an issue that you can't download the upgrade until you are active.

    Hi Zim,

glad you got it in the end.
I signed up to the Beta test. Got both the Beta 2 and RC1. I suppose if anyones interested i could give them my Beta 2 copy. It says it can be installed on upto 10 pc's?

    Just a thought.

Nice link there Zim, I haven't been able to install Vista RC on VMWare and I'm guessing that's the problem. I'm going to give it a go tonight.:D
