Hey guys,

Does anyone know of any free software that will allow me to put a text watermark on a video? I know that not everything can be done on the cheap, but found virtualdub can do an image, but not just text. (I know I could create an image of the text I need, but this would look pants.)

Off the top of my head... no. All the free pieces of software that I have previously used needed the watermark to be an image.

The problem is that video is a bitmap style system, so you need to render the text as a bitmap to combine it.

A quick search on videohelp.com came up with this solution.
