A quick question from someone who doesn't currently live in the UK and so doesn't understand the tax system - if I wanted to do certification training in the UK, would I have to pay VAT on the cost of the course?

    Thanks!

    Good question.

I would think that you would still have to pay it. As a rule all prices here in the UK are inclusive of VAT, so unless you can obtain some exemption (don't know how) you wouls still have to pay it.

My understanding was a company who is VAT registered must charge VAT - those who are not, don't.
