    Hi

Im a starter to virtulisation but i want to create a domain using VPC...

The question i have is can i use 2003 on my physical machine having the virtual machines in the domain?

Or would it be best to have 2003 as a Virtual machine too...

Mix and match is perfectly ok, in my home lab I have a mix of ESXi\Hyper-V and physical machines. As long as they are all connected to the LAN then it doesn't matter.

You can have for your test environment a Physical DC and virtual clients or you can have all virtual or all physical. You're limited to your resources that you have.
