Err, my Username i randomly picked when i was 10, I had a habit of respawning in games and seeking revenge via serious ass whooping.
My previous nicknames were 'Commander X' and 'Commander Solo (from many years spent playing the original X-Wing!!!)
    obviously these sounded lame
    so Phoenix was born
however it was originally spelt Pheonix due to some git already having it on ircnet, after a few years of getting fed up of people telling me I couldnt spell i changed it back, but the shorthand 'Pheo' has stuck (pronounced Fee-o)

so everyone calls me pheo now, even got called it by a teacher at school once!

Mine is pretty sad really. When I started CF i didn't have a handle I always used my name so I has Si from Simon and For from forum. Simon's Forum = SimonV

I didn't think that CF would grow to what it has and have many times thought about changing it to something better but its grown on me now.

Mines basicly cause I'm a punk (Mohican, leather jacket, patches and buttons kind, not some blink182 wanabe). Wasn't sure on a handle, but i thought there wer too many punker121, punkers123, punx, ect to make mine standout, so punkboy sounded ok, and I also alway's add 101 to the end of usernames for no perticullar reason.

My name Greebo, is a cat with attitude in Terry Pratchett's Disc World Books :)
My favourite character in the books is Death, but didn't pick that coz that would have scared peeps and made them think I was some sort of loonatic :tune

Mine came from being a Star Trek fan (I know how sad), however I dont go to conventions etc, I just like to watch the show. I did try a couple of variations of DATA but there seem to be a few out there. I discovered recently that the show creators spell nelixwith a double 'ee'

I thought we did this one already. My handle comes from two sources and there's a story. I was about to create a Yahoo email account and needed an alternate name...plus I wanted something that sounded kind of butch. I had read a BOFH story at The Register that referenced him using an Ethernet cable as a tripwire to keep people out of his "lair". At about the same time, a free poster on common network vulnerabilities I'd ordered from www.tripwire.com had arrived. Well, I tried entering [email protected] but it was already taken. They recommended using a number so since RJ45 connectors go with ethernet cables, "tripwire45" was born. Ta da! :biggrin
