Started playing with these since i think they kinda look groovy

How do i convert a standard user bar so that it can be clicked to goto a url?

You need to go to your profile and select the edit signature option.

Then select the picture icon (yellow square shown on reply to thread that looks like 2 mountains on it with a small grey square)

Enter or cut and paste the HTML address for that image and save.

on the page you will see a button with the text "get your bb code or HTML code"

You need this to copy and paste into your signature

 

I think what Manic wants to do is encase the userbar in a link, so when you click on it, it loads up a webpage.

Some of the userbars that autogenerate code for you will do this automatically, as per UCM's halo3 example. But if you want to customize it, you just need to encase the image in:

[ u r l ="www.whatever.com"]Userbar[ / u r l ]

tags (remove the spaces inside the tags).
