LOL. That is one of the funniest things I've seen. It's not funny that it's a usb mug warmer but because of the specs given on the mug warmer.

Notice that this mug warmer is supposedly powered by a usb cable. Now notice that power consumption is listed at 110-240 VAC. If you can get 110 VAC or 240 VAC out of your usb connection there is something seriously wrong with your computer. In fact, it no longer works as everything inside it is fried.... No usb bus could survive 110 let alone 240.

 

I've seen a USB mug warmer thats got a USB hub intergrated into it so that you can keep your mug warm and daisy chain usb device...

 

I saw a top 10 list of unlikely USB items not so long ago - I'll see if I can find it again....
