    Hi all,
I have been reading on usb today and therefore understand that 2.0 has backwarded compatibilty with 1.1 and 1.1 is compatible with 2.0 but will only perform as a 1.1 serial device. But do the leads have anything todo with it? As I have seen there are 2.0 and 1.1 leads? Also say the usb port is 2.0 but an external usb 1.1 removable drive is plugged in it should therfore work according to the explanation but only perform as a 1.1 usb or does it has the power of a 2.0 and perform as a 2.0?

    Hope someone can help?

    regards,

    Dave
