It might be in the 2006 objectives but it's still covered for the 2003 objectives:(

Am I right in thinking that the NT in Windows NT stood for "New Technology" or am I barking up the wrong tree?

That takes me back, think its around 12MB of RAM to run NT or something like that.

Remember there are two different versions of NT workstation, 3.51 and 4.0. I think the main difference is the version of NTFS they both use. Dont quote me on that though! :biggrin

Also the latest service pack is 6a, you need to service pack the OS to that level if you want to add it to a 2k\2k3 domain.

Just installed the new RAM, got it cheap off ebuyer in the end. All went well apart from it being very tight fit and having to reopen the case and clip one of the sticks in correctly as had missed a clip. Got 1gb of RAM, 2.8gh Pentium 4 processor and 240gb hard drive now.

Dusty as anything inside the case  , cleaned it up with brush and compressed air as much as I could but I noticed the CPU fan and heatsink are caked in dust !. I need to unclip the cpu fan from the heatsink so I can unscrew the heatsink etc and clean them both, but I couldn't seem to get the fan off and didn't want to force it. Does it just unclip from the heatsink ?:blink

Intel D915GAG mobo, intel pentium 4 processor.
