Upgrading from FAT32 to NTFS

    Am I being dense or can you run the convert by inserting the Windows CD-ROM? :confused3 :oops:

    Just thought of something (could you smell the burning :scratch )
    My system automatically backs up my system files onto the C drive about once a week.My main boot partition is on the D drive ont this system.It came like that :!:

    Note to self "remember now, don't be stupid and forget that boot partition contains system files and system partition contains boot files"

    I reckon I'll have to convert the C drive to NTFS as well.Or maybe not, not sure.

    I'm fairly sure you'll need both Boot and system partitions the same file system, Flex.

    Not something I recall reading or hearing, Trip. The Cd-Rom will let you convert from FAT32 to NTFS during installation, but not after, I'm sure.

    Then again, ..... :oops:
