Well, sort of. Most of you know me as a person who writes books, and particularly the A+ related "Street Smarts" book by Sybex (2nd ed. coming out in October). What you may not know, is that I also write columns for two Linux related magazines. For quite awhile now, I've written the Tool Tips column for Linux Magazine (accessible in the hardcopy version only), and now I've started writing for Ubuntu User Magazine as well.

Books then to be works that you live with for months and months at a time, while magazine columns are more like blogs. Get in, write stuff, get out. While I've never written a Linux related book, I find that having the opportunity to write for magazines expands my reach into different areas. Since I'm pretty much an Ubuntu-only user, I'm well placed to write my new column. Just thought I'd share some recent activities (and I'm still looking for my next book project).
